Becoming a Salsero

Learning to dance Salsa !

About me

I remember the first time I saw a salsa performance. The dance was mesmerizing and I decided that becoming a Salsero would be my new goal.

Just getting started took a lot longer than planned but I still haven't regretted a single moment of learning to dance salsa. Why don't you join me and become a salsero / salsera as well?.

About this site

This is where I share my experiences and thoughts on dancing salsa.

If you have any questions or remarks please leave a comment or send an email to becomingasalsero@gmail.com.

Additional ways to contact me can be found on my contact page.

Plagiarism

Apparently I've been plagiarized.

Now part of me is all excited about that.
I mean, this was mainly meant to keep track of my own progress but, as with dancing salsa, I'm slowly starting to go from being shy to liking attention.

Now I would not have known this if wanderingsalsero hadn't blogged about it and I would have probably been perfectly happy if I had not known about it. Ignorance after all is bliss.

However, now that I do know about it I feel . . . used.
It's not that I feel my writing is great or that my content is great. However, it is my writing and my content. And if anybody wants to publish it on their site I feel they should at least link back.

Btw wanderingsalsero, thanks for the 'Ok' feedback. It's a higher rating than I would have given myself ;-)

    Hi Walter:

This whole thing sorta cracks me up. None of this is going to keep anybody from going to Heaven of course but, as you agree, it's the principle of the thing.

    But you know what?

As they say in Hollywood, 'all publicity is good publicity' so frankly I don't think our buddy Evan really lost any money over this deal :-)

I think the best thing to come from all this is that a few people anyway, have sorta expanded their consciousness on the meaning and value of their online presence.

So in that regard, I feel like I've done a good thing.

But, to be honest, I wouldn't have known about if I hadn't been told by my friend -----------(whose name shall not be mentioned :-)

I'm still hoping you and me and some of the other guys can meet on the net sometime and do some 'talkshow' type things.

    Best regards,
    Art

    Hi Art,

You're absolutely right, all publicity is good publicity. Even more so on the internet where showing up in search engines is always a good thing ;-)

You did definitely expand my consciousness about my online presence. I didn't realize that my blog was this visible. It's prompted a change in me. Now that I realize I am visible I feel I should also offer more. After all, I dislike coming across sites that really don't have anything to offer so I'd better make sure I'm not one of those.

A 'talkshow' type of thing sounds really cool. Let me know if you plan to go through with that and I'll gladly join.

    Enjoy your weekend,
    Walter

Ps, I liked your site so I've linked you in my 'sites that I liked'.
I'm pretty sure you don't mind, it's exposure after all ;-), but I always think it's a good idea to let people know in case they do have any objections.
